Ranji is a huge Bollywood fan: his biggest dream is to star in a Bollywood film himself - best of all alongside his favorite star Amir Roshan. When a big audition is announced in Mumbai - where the big Bolly Studios are located - the 12-year-old decides to shoot an application video. To his great misfortune, his family has to leave their hometown Mumbai just at that moment and move to Germany. In dreary Berlin, everything is different and not like home at all. At first he gets lost in daydreams, but when he finally meets Toni, together they try to make Ranji's dream come true. The film is told in an entertaining way featuring great dance and music numbers that make you feel that cinema really can be a space for dreamers.
