From 2013 to 2015, the "Filmleuchten" event took place at Jugendhaus "Das Mitte" on the nationwide “Kurzfilmtag” (Short Film Day).
We are reviving this short film event and showing short films in a continuous loop for five hours on the shortest day of the year with the participation of film festivals from Stuttgart and the region. Participants are:
- film-sharing Festival
- Indianer Inuit – Das Nordamerika Filmfestival
- Internationales Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart (ITFS)
- NaturVision Filmfestival
- SiNEMA – Deutsch-Türkische Filmtage (German-Turkish film days)
- Stuttgarter Filmwinter – Festival for Expanded Media
and four animated films made at the 1st HFM-FerienFilmWorkshop (holiday film workshop) in November.
The films will be shown from 4 to 9 p.m. as a window presentation at the Experimentierraum (experimental room) on the corner of Katharinenstraße and Lazarettstraße opposite the Züblin parking garage. It is not possible to stay in the room, but representatives of the HFM will be there to provide information. Come and see us.
