“talents’ encounters” at the 35th Filmwinter Stuttgart – Festival for Expanded Media 07.-16.01.2022
At the 35th Stuttgarter Filmwinter, the HFM presents for the first time a diverse selection of works by young film and media makers from higher-education members – Akademie der Bildenden Künste (ABK), Akademie Schloss Solitude, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, and Merz Akademie – on the topic of "social relevance".
This will bring together short film animations by students of the ABK, an animated film by two students of Filmakademie, experimental and scenic short films by Merz Akademie as well as a film essay and an experimental film by two scholarship holders of Akademie Schloss Solitude will come together.
It is one of the goals of the house to be built in the centre of Stuttgart by 2027, to offer up-and-coming artists and media professionals the opportunity to realise their own productions and present them to a larger audience. A first taste of the broad spectrum of young creatives is now offered by “talents' encounters”.
Kindly supported by the City of Stuttgart.
