Dr. Lars-Henrik Gass will become the founding director of the Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart
The association Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart e.V. is very pleased to announce that Lars-Henrik Gass has been appointed as the founding director of the Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart. The renowned film theorist, cultural manager, and long-time director of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will take over the leadership of the planning team for the Haus für Film und Medien starting in February 2025.
Lars-Henrik Gass not only possesses extensive expertise in the fields of film and media but also brings with him an international network and broad experience as a cultural manager.
As an association that has been actively committed to the development and promotion of the Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart since 2011, we are excited about the future collaboration. Together with Mr. Gass, we will continue to work on making the Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart a vibrant place within Stuttgart's urban community and a leading institution in the national and international film and media landscape.
