We join it: 2nd Stuttgarter ScienceFestival (June 23 to July 2, 2022)
As part of the science festival, City I House I Pixel provides tangible insights into current developments and innovations. How are digital moving images used in the fields of visual media, film, architecture, and urban planning?
Media architecture, LED walls, metaverse, immersion, animation, digital twin, holograms, virtual and augmented reality, urban simulation, spatial modelling, 3D visualization, virtual film locations - what's behind it? How and where will digital moving images be used today and in the future?
At City | House | Pixel, these terms and new topics of digital visualization are made understandable and tangible for the interested public in lectures, presentations, panels, and live demonstrations.
By 2027, the House for Film and Media will be built in the middle of Stuttgart as a public place for interactive engagement with audiovisual media. Pop-up events such as film evenings, workshops, or this science day provide impressions of the future program of this unique project long before the opening of the house.
Together with partners from science, research, and technology, the association Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart e.V., the Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart (Stuttgart Region Economic Development Agency), the Film Commission Region Stuttgart (Stuttgart Region Film Commission) and IBA'27 would like to provide answers, explanations, and examples of current questions, ideas, and innovations.
