Film Series with Discussion
In cooperation with the Arthaus Filmtheater Stuttgart, we will be showing a new film series starting in September. It will take place every second Wednesday of the month until summer 2023.
For one year you can experience a curated film program with moderated discussion rounds and selected guests relating to the overarching theme of "architecture".
Look forward to feature films, documentaries, and animated films from the years 1924 to 2019, as well as guest appearances by filmmakers and experts from the fields of architecture, history, culture, art, politics, urban planning, scenography, etc. After the screening, we invite you to take part in a discussion with our guests. Here, a stimulating exchange with the audience is explicitly desired!
Film freaks, casual viewers, architecture lovers, Arthaus regulars, visionaries, historians, or HFM enthusiasts - there's something here for everyone.
We are not celebrating the start of our film series as planned with an admission-free open-air cinema night in the Tübinger Straße, but as before with Metropolis in its uncut version with live music by the pianist Uwe Oberg and are presenting our film series, the House for Film and Media, and the Arthaus cinemas.
